Extreme Physics Day 2

Today, we had a challenge about ‘alien mass’, and we had to guess the mass of an alien by using a graph which we plotted. This was fun, but difficult to get accurate!

We then left for the activity of the day, Airkix and rock climbing. When we got there, our group had free time before rock climbing. These were indoor rock climbing walls, which had auto-belays, meaning that to get off the wall you had to take a ‘leap of faith’, which was scary!

However, Airkix was amazing… you fall forward into a wind tunnel and fly around three metres above the ground. We all enjoyed this!

When we got back to Rugby School campus, we had preparation for presentations most of the evening, which was helpful!

I simply cannot imagine what the wind tunnel must be like. What an amazing experience!
